Inflorescence
A new album featuring five premiere recordings of music composed for saxophone and piano during the past thirty years, inspired by imagery of specific places and moments: the highlands of Tibet, the warmth of Latin America, a medieval church in Italy, a windswept island off the coast of Wales, and a sudden snowfall in New England.
